Overnight Trains Between Milan and Puglia
The busiest overnight services connect Milano Centrale with southern Puglia every day of the year. These trains travel the length of Italy overnight, calling at major stations including Bologna Centrale, Foggia, Bari Centrale, Brindisi and Lecce before reaching their final destination the following morning.
Currently, two daily pairs of Intercity Notte services operate on this route.
IC Notte 752 leaves Lecce at 19:50 before travelling north through Brindisi, Bari Centrale, Foggia and Bologna Centrale, arriving at Milano Centrale at 07:12.
The return working, IC Notte 755, departs Milano Centrale at 21:50 before following the same route south, reaching Lecce at 09:30 the next morning.
A second daily service, IC Notte 758, departs Lecce at 19:41, calling at Brindisi, Taranto, Bari Centrale, Foggia and Bologna Centrale before arriving in Milano Centrale at 07:05.
Its southbound counterpart, IC Notte 765, leaves Milano Centrale at 21:15, travelling via Bologna Centrale and Foggia before reaching Lecce at approximately 07:00.
These services provide an excellent alternative to flying.
